Wellness is more than bubble baths, green smoothies, and taking a day off.
Those things can certainly be part of caring for yourself, but true wellness goes much deeper. It is about understanding what you need, recognizing where your life may be out of balance, and taking intentional steps toward feeling better, in all of the areas.
That is why I created The Wellness Playbook.
Wellness Should Have a Plan
As a therapist, I have spent more than 20 years helping people navigate stress, anxiety, burnout, caregiving, major life transitions, and everything in between. One thing I have learned is that knowing you need to make a change and knowing how to make that change are two very different things.
We often tell ourselves:
I need to take better care of myself.
I need to set better boundaries.
I need to manage my stress.
I need to make time for myself.
But what does that actually look like?
Where do you start?
And how do you turn a good intention into something you can realistically maintain?
The Wellness Playbook was created to help answer those questions.
More Than Self-Care
The Wellness Playbook takes a broader look at wellness by exploring the different areas of our lives that contribute to our overall wellbeing.
Because you can be doing everything "right" in one area of your life while struggling in another.
You might be physically healthy but emotionally exhausted.
You might have a successful career but feel disconnected from your relationships.
You might be surrounded by people but still feel lonely.
You might know exactly what you should be doing but feel completely overwhelmed by where to begin.
Wellness is not about achieving perfection. It is about creating greater awareness, identifying what needs attention, and making meaningful changes that support the life you want to live.
Turning Awareness Into Action
One of the most important parts of wellness is moving from "I can" to "I am."
The Wellness Playbook is designed to help you do exactly that.
Inside, you will have the opportunity to reflect on different areas of your wellness, identify strengths and challenges, and create concrete goals for moving forward.
Rather than simply telling you to "practice self-care," the workbook encourages you to ask:
What do I actually need?
What is currently working?
What isn't working?
What is within my control?
What is one realistic step I can take today?
These questions can help transform wellness from an abstract concept into something practical and achievable.
Your Playbook Doesn't Have to Look Like Anyone Else's
There is no one-size-fits-all version of wellness.
Your playbook may look completely different from your partner's, your friend's, your coworker's, or even the person sitting next to you.
And that's okay.
Wellness is personal.
Your needs will change throughout your life, too. What you need at 25 may not be what you need at 35. What supports you during a calm season may look very different when you're navigating grief, caregiving, parenthood, a career change, or another major transition.
The goal isn't to create a perfect life.
The goal is to create a life that supports you.
A Resource for Wherever You Are
I created The Wellness Playbook for anyone who has ever thought:
"I know I need to make some changes, but I don't know where to start."
You don't have to overhaul your entire life.
You don't have to fix everything at once.
You simply have to begin.
Start with awareness.
Choose one area.
Set one realistic goal.
Take one step.
Then take another.
Small, intentional changes can create meaningful shifts over time.
Your Wellness Is Worth Investing In
We spend so much time investing in our careers, our families, our homes, and the people we love.
But we can easily forget to invest in ourselves.
Your wellness is not selfish.
It is not something you have to earn.
And it doesn't have to wait until you're burned out, overwhelmed, or at a breaking point.
Preventative wellness matters.
Taking time to understand yourself, identify your needs, and build sustainable habits is an investment in your future.
That is the heart behind The Wellness Playbook.
It is not about becoming a different person.
It is about creating a clearer picture of where you are, where you want to go, and the steps that can help you get there.
Ready to Create Your Playbook?
If you're ready to stop simply thinking about wellness and start taking intentional steps toward it, The Wellness Playbook is here to help.
Consider this your invitation to pause, reflect, and give yourself permission to prioritize your own wellbeing.
You don't need to have it all figured out.
You just need to take one small step.
